Laurelwood is one of Waterloo's largest newer neighbourhoods, built mostly from the late 1990s onward along Laurelwood Drive and Erbsville Road, with Vista Hills continuing west of it on the edge of the countryside. The houses are big: four and five bedrooms, double garages, finished basements with a second living room and often a home gym or a bar, and back yards with patio sets and play structures.
